Welcome to the Lyndale Island Auto Tuner's Center!
Hi, welcome aboard, we're glad you found us! If you're new to Lyndale Island, you may be wondering what in the world this is all about? Well it's all about bringing you a new form of interactive entertainment, information, and recreation on the internet. It's about enjoying your favorite past times with others who share the same interests. If you're into discussing politics, war, or social problems you've come to the wrong place.
Many of us have had a life time passion for customizing and "tuning," our cars. Growing up in America; we used to call it "souping" up our cars, doing those little and sometimes big things that made our cars special. For some of us, it was older cars that we bought and "fixed up" with dreams of showing, drag racing or road racing it one day.
Over the years I've modified, owned and raced a number of different sports cars, but in the end I came home to a C5 Corvette. The Corvette is truly American and truly a sports car. It loves to be "tuned." Dollar for dollar, pound for pound it out performs the most expensive sports cars in the world.
This site is dedicated to aftermarket tuning and restoring of Corvettes. We want to serve as a resource for all who are interested in any aspect of this love affair. Our goal is to bring you as much information, entertainment and how-to instruction centered on Corvettes that we can find, as well as create ourselves. Let us know what you're thinking and what kinds of features you'd like to see by visiting our forum. With your feedback, there is no limit to the online community we can build here at Lyndale Island. The possibilities of the virtual worlds are endless.
One unique thing about the Lyndale Island Tuner's Center is that we plan to bring you all types of videos, articles and activities about Corvettes. We're here 24/7 with multimedia, interactive features in a number of major segments including, From The Tires Up, Tuner's Corner, Life On The Road, Care and Feeding, and Test Drives. We're just getting started so you're still going to see some areas under construction. But keep checking in and you'll find new articles, videos and other features. The Lyndale Island Auto Tuner's Center is part of a larger island complex that includes other resources including a Yacht Club, Speedway, and an Aviation Center.
The Lyndale Island Development Team is composed of experts in programming, 3D design, web design, multimedia, video and other areas related to the construction and maintenance of this unique site.
The Lyndale Island Editorial staff is growing in all three areas. If you are interested in contributing an article on any subject related to Corvettes, please contact AutoTunersEditor@LyndaleIsland.com. MEMBERSHIP
Everyone is welcome to visit Lyndale Island as a guest. Some areas, however, are open to "Members Only."
Individuals may become members of Lyndale Island Auto Tuner's Center and have access
to Members Only features in all three areas of the Island.
Members receive a Auto Tuner's Center Member CD Rom. The CD Rom has a library of articles,
and resources featured at the Auto Tuner's Center. Members may then download upgrades and
new versions of the CD online.
A quarterly CD ROM and/or DVD magazine is also planned for members only. It
features special How-to segments, articles, exclusive interviews and other
special features and updates the initial CD.
In addition to the public forum, members also have access to the MEMBERS
ONLY forum area on Lyndale Island. There are three separate members'
only forums, one for each of the three areas on Lyndale Island.
Members are also eligible to receive discounts from many of our partners,
sponsors or advertisers. From time-to-time members may receive special offers
from our Partners, Sponsors and Advertisers. Members also receive discounts
at the Lyndale Island Store (opening soon) located at the Auto Tuner's Center.
First time members will receive a Lyndale Island T-Shirt and ID card.
CHARTER MEMBERSHIP OPORTUNITY
We're young and growing, be among the first to join the Lyndale Island Auto Tuner's
Center and you'll become a Charter Member for life with the following benefits.
Yearly membership is $29.95, however, for a limited time; we are offering an
individual Charter Membership in Lyndale Island. Charter Members may join Lyndale
Island Auto Tuner's Center for only $19.95 for one year or $29.95 for a two year membership.
Charter members are guaranteed to never pay more then $29.95 per year for membership.
This is a limited time offer to those pioneering individuals who join us early thereby
helping us establish this new interactive site.
